    omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaa

just like last week, the 64gb blue showed up at 1015 pacific. i was here at a workstation clicking f5 like a silly fool...

i was only interested in the black 64 so boom i hit add to cart... it would get to cart, i would click checkout then poof.. gone..

this happened about 10 ish times within a 15 minute time frame.

i got the unexpected error as well, most likely because the phone was spoken for by the time it got into my cart.

it was quiet for a few minutes... then the 64gb popped back up.

just like how you feel when you swat a fly with a fly swatter thats been buggin you all day...i was like " HA i got you sucker!"

went to check out... 780.90. CA tax is a bish...

after a "pending" email.. a robot call to make sure my purchase was not fraud, AND a chat with two cats from goog, i finally got this thing locked in!

both chat reps ( a regular low level one and a google wallet rep) both said they have all had back to back calls about this nex 6. they were ready for them too.

never have i been through so much drama over a phone and i hope this is the last.

wow,,, this was fun...... feels like i just had a romantic encounter with a woman and its time for the cigar,,,, :smokingsomb::car:

I was on the roof of a locomotive welding and I could feel my phone vibrating but to busy to try. I'll try during lunch break.

They shouldn't even be allowing people to order more than 1 as long as people who want to order aren't able to.

I fully expect to get one from At&t sooner than most pre-orders.

At this point I'm thinking this is all intentional. They want it to go through carriers this time around. The more hoops people have to jump through the more likely they are to just buy in person or at least through carrier online options. Maybe this signals a fundamental shift by Google to get out of the direct hardware business. Maybe they are sick of dealing with shipments and returns and complaints.

That makes alot of sense. Being the retailer can be a pain in the butt.

Well for me personally the only reason to buy Nexus was for the differences. The 1st of which was buying a pure Android phone with no bs carrier bloatware or other nonsense.
So if it is truly a shift to going through carriers almost exclusively then I guess all the phones now become equal.
So I guess I'll just start looking at ALL phones and forget this Nexus loyalty.

ps do you really think At&T is going to keep their branding and their bloatware off this phone? I'm betting not.

I hope Google makes them keep the bloat to a minimum and that it can be uninstalled instead of just disabled. Windows phones come with bloat but you can easily delete it.

    Two things ...
1 lollipop is supposed to allow you to remove bloat anyway.
2 I think the real reason is the developers community discovered a bug in 5.0 that's what the delay is about. They are delaying the roll out to all nexus devices as well. I assume they don't want to ship out phones that don't work to thousands of customers. It would be like releasing a phone with a bunch of hype that bends or something. :D

Droid Turbo is damn near a Nexus.

I was done welding so I came into the locker room for a last try and just kept switching back and forth between colors, again, and I got lucky. 32gb blue. Would rather have white.

Leaves Nov 26. I got 3-5 days shipping. I didn't see where to change that because I was in a hurry to get my purchase thru before they decided to take it away from me.

    smaller screen

    2.4 only instead of 3

    nope not for me

    2.4 instead of 3? Huh?

Same processor and clock speed, same memory, same resolution with more pixel density, possibly a better camera.

Fwiw I love mine. Now with this battery and smaller screen it's working great for my use. I honestly don't think the 6 would make it to the end of my work day let alone until I sleep without having to plug in.

Yes I'm still ordering a 6 when they're actually available.

Considering that the developer previews are only available for the Nexus 5 and wifi 2013 Nexus 7, it would explain why the reports mostly come from that device. It very well might not affect the Nexus 6, but there aren't testimonies out there to confirm our deny it at this point.

You haven't been through the real nightmare of waiting, reading hundreds of rumors (true) waiting some more for month after month unless you attempted to obtain an invite to entitle you to pre-order a OnePlus One.

I spent fourteen weeks, yes that's 14 weeks until i finally got an invite only to put up with another few weeks wait to take delivery.

The good news is it worked very well for a full two weeks till it went south, turning into a brick. I'll save the rest of the absurdly long story for another day.

I had it wrong they are both 2.7 GHz

For me personally I wouldn't want the small screen, but an even bigger downside to me is it only being available on Verizon.

    I'm glad there's choices though.

    Enjoy your turbo :)

If I was fully committed to getting the N6, I may play the Play Store game, but it really sounds like it is getting ridiculous. Either let me pre-order it or not; I am not interested in playing the lottery. Besides, I would rather hit the REAL lottery than a phone.

That said, Im not fully committed to getting the N6 yet, because I still want to compare it to the Note Edge. I figure now by the time I read some real world hands on reviews from people like you guys here at AF, there will be a supply and I will be able to buy which ever phone I want when I want.

I am going to upgrade my phone and the wife's phone, so I expect to be lightening my wallet later this month!

Agree. This ridiculous game Google is playing has gotten old.
They can of course do whatever they want but it would be nice if they'd grow a pair and just say what's up..

If the turbo was available on AT&T I'd already have one!!
