Root [Boost Mobile] Tri-Band S3 (SPH-L710T)

I dont know about the kernel update killing 3g. I have had a random issue, where when I disconnect from the tower, and reconnect, it shows 3g with 1 bar, but doesn't ever connect. No incoming or outgoing calls or texts. Reset the radio (airplane mode) And I connect 3 bars 4g.
Maybe I will try it again cuz I remember now that when I first flashed the rom im using, I restored my modem and efs before I even rebooted and it took a while to connect, but when it did I was getting ridiculous internet speed, like faster than wifi for a couple of hours until I guess till they slowed it up. Maybe I just didnt give it enough time.

If Wicked X will work then the Tribute ROM should too. Both are TouchWiz based.

I'm not running a T model but thought I would pass the info along. The ROM is stable as can be. It honestly surprised me just how smoothly the ROM runs.

I would think the steps for getting Wicked X and Tribute are the same.

Hopefully it will run as well on the tri-band as it does on the NDC and ND8 phones.

Yeah I am having the same issue. Everything unknown. I was able to restore the nandroid provided here but no signal, can only use for connecting wifi. I flashed the original modem back but after using a hardware app to break it all down for me, it says that radio could not be found. I don't know, I do know that I will be more aware of the way the storage is used and set up on any future devices.

Are there any working ROMs for this phone?
Working roms are hit or miss.

Conquest and cyenogen are a couple I have seen. Gotta flash a different kernel to fix issues.

But beware.... If you lose imei and all that in "about phone", there is no odin image yet to fix it.

I advise you to stick to stock or tread carefully when flashing.

Philz recovery will root it btw.
