Root [ROM][MetroPCS & T-Mobile] Katana ROM *Updated 11-16-2015*

xposed itself should never update, only way to actually update it is by downloading the update from xda and flashing in recovery. You're probably talking about an xposed module, if so yes it is fine to reboot.
Well all seems to be fine. I am guessing you were correct. It was morning.lol Greenify is working, ver 2.81 but don't remember what ver it was but it must have been that but never remember seeing Xposed mentioned in any module update, just the apps name. And I do know what I saw this morning had Xposed in the name. Anyway, thanks for your reply, helps me learn

I was able to just swipe it away this morning but it did say to reboot. Just did it it and nothing changed and no notification came back. Everything working. Wish I new the versions of Xposed and Greenify as of a couple of days ago and compare to what they are now

Yeah I restarted like 5-6x and didn't fix. But when I click on soft reboot from within xposed and it fixed it.

So this ROM works great and all, but I'm noticing something really strange. Typically after I unplug my device in the morning, it will stay at 100% for x amount of time, and then suddenly drop to 95% in one go. Not a problem really, but what is a problem is how when I go to see what's eating up battery life, Android OS is insanely high, almost toppling over Screen. A lot of times I can see the percentage just drop very quickly on normal use. For example if I just enter the Camera app for at most a minute, the percentage will drop 2-3% by the time I exit it, definitely doesn't sound right.

This is a completely fresh installation of the ROM too, no apps other than the ones that came with it, and quite frankly this is the only phone I've seen do this... anyone know whats up? (I also turned GPS off entirely but that doesn't seem to do anything.)

The default CPU frequencies are read-only. So, they are unchangeable to a point. (You can set it all the way down to 800 MHz, I think.)

Well, that's one of the reasons why battery drain is quicker compared to stock. As for Android OS usage, I'm stumped.

Ok, cool. There was this video on xda called the battery life challenge I think, it has apps and modules for better battery saving.
It really doesn't matter which apps you have installed if you don't have a way to control them its pointless any battery app. For e.g... I use 3cTools to control task. If im not using them they should not be running in background. And i use SD.maid to control autostart of some others. This way i have control of battery usage + ram
