I'm on the MK5 modem since forever, I switch between CM 11 and 12.
For some time now, I've noticed when I'm on CM 11 downloading mms is inconsistent and flaky. Previously it worked perfectly - for years I guess. I do apply the apn fix, and I've had it working fine across multiple CM 10 & 11 versions.
On CM 12 same deal if anything it's worse I almost never can download mms even with the apn fix correctly applied I'm aware of the extra steps for CM 12.
I have a family member on the stock touchwiz rom, but pinned at Jelly Bean w. MK5 modem. Likewise mms & texting worked perfectly for years, but for a while now they've been having mms receiving issues, or just don't get texts.
So my question is, at this point do we have to go up to NDC to get mms / texting working 100%? Could that be what's going on?
(I might add yes I am aware of stage fright on older roms etc etc.)
