Galaxy S7 Battery LIfe

Cleared cache and now see this:

Think I'll post in the main forum to see if anyone has seen 10201 before.

Thanks again for the tips!

Hey S7 folks, I'm a CAT S60 guy appealing to you all for help.

I'm dealing with the 6.0.1 wifi drain issue. I've followed the instructions that I've found online to disable stuff, but I don't have a "menu" (triple dot) button on the Location screen, to disable wifi and bluetooth scanning.

I'm curious if it's been removed from your 6.0.1 install as well? Or is this problem unique to my S60?

Full details here: http://androidforums.com/threads/cat-s60-battery-life-issue-with-6-0-1-wifi-drain.1052625/

Thanks for any help!

On the Galaxy S7 edge that adjustment is made under Settings.

Settings/Location/Locating method – you have 3 choices on that screen.

GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks.
Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
GPS only.
I think I figured it out. I can set it to GPS only, but if I turn location off and back on, it blows my setting away and defaults back to high accuracy. How infuriating.

Thanks for the tips, I have just uninstalled FB and will see what happens.
When I look at battery usage now, it reads:
10201 96%
Android sytem 3%
nothing else listed

Anyone know what 10201 is?

I have a feeling something else might be going on.
I had FB and all other same apps on my S5 and did not have this problem.

There's no way a phone should use 40% overnight while just sitting.

Here's a clip:

the 10201 is a number that replaces the fb app you deleted..it will go away next time you charge you phone.

My battery life with my S7 Edge is horrific since the latest update (the one that enabled wifi calling for AT&T). I used to come home from work with around 70% or more battery life, and lately the phone is less than 50% before I even leave work. Right now I'm looking at it and it's 28% and only been off the charger for 13hrs. I haven't even really used it much today, other than listening to some music via bluetooth earbuds and having my S2 watch connected to it. My usage is same as it was when I was getting good battery life from May through just a few weeks ago. I think the latest update really screwed something up.

Do a system cache reset then.

I did a full factory reset last night. Battery seems somewhat better today than it was yesterday but right now it's sitting at 54% after just 9.5hrs off the charger. That is definitely not as good as what it was. I've got the bare minimum apps installed on it too, like Power Amp and not much else. :(

Now that I think of it, there was a Gear update not long ago, which was around the time I started seeing battery life tank, so that may be the culprit as well.
