I'm noticing that I'm not always getting notifications to threads I'm subscribed to.

Complaints:
Egads, full-page interstitial ads with video and sound - instant turn-off.

Giant ad in the first post on each page - instant turn-off - plus it makes it look like @Unforgiven is a spammer.

I don't know if it's just my work network, but introducing ads also seems to make my browser unable to finish loading a page. Chrome reports that it is "waiting for googleads.g.doubleclick.net..." and the loading spinner for the tab (where the favicon would normally appear) just keeps going and going and going... Surely there's a timeout at some point, right?

Constructive feedback time:
The in-post ads aren't clearly marked as advertisements. Something to tell the difference between an official AF ad versus a spammer trying to push their own stuff would be quite helpful - both to moderators and to members.

I've been on other forums where clearly marked ads appear in between posts rather than in them, which offends me far less. As it is it looks like the OP is endorsing whatever ad may appear, which is all sorts of shady in my book.

Or, the best way I've seen it done is the ad is at the bottom of the thread. If there must be ads in threads (please no, so damn annoying!) then putting them at the bottom is the way to do it. Last post then the ad that looks like another post. But yeah, please at least separate them and get them out of the posts.

@Thom, see http://androidforums.com/threads/why-am-i-getting-ads-in-my-posts.1124984/. We are all getting ads.

I think the whole subscribed/favorite threads should be checked out. Favorites don't show up inn the favorite lists. You must look in all to find the red eye favorites.

Marking a thread as a favorite doesn't cause it to show up as a favorite.

Unselecting a favorite doesn't remove it from the favorites list.

Missed notifications as mentioned.

^^Yes, that's what the edit issue looks like that several people have commented on. Once you've clicked the edit post option, a new floating window comes up which contains the words "edit" and "report". As can be seen in the above pic, that floating window hovers directly over the edit field itself. So we then need to again press the edit option, often more than once, in order to clear that floating window out of the way and reveal the edit field. Then there's another click/press involved in order to actually enter the edit field and bring up our phone's keyboard to type.

Fixed!
