DO IT!!!!! i am going too ,,
LOL - you sound like a NIKE Rep.

Yeah, I'm going to Best Buy with my daughter tomorrow to touchy feely for a while. I'm probably going to pre-order as long as I don't feel heat or any hiccups with it running through the demo bull. I know it's not gonna be the same as having lot's of apps installed but at least I'll feel better about it than thumbing left and right and then signing on for pre-order. I'm gonna spend about a half hour with the S8. She doesn't want the S8+ because it won't fit in her tight jean pockets, which I can't blame her, especially since she's trying a flip case this time around to protect from drops with the stupid edge screen crap. It would suck to crack it.

Against my better judgement, I think I'm going to give Best Buy a shot since they're giving an additional $50.00 discount for the Verizon installment plan. These phones are just getting too damn expensive. I'll just pay it off a couple of months after if it works good. That's sort of my safety net.

I'm going to do the additional $99 VR Experience Box since that's a good value too! This phone better be good because I originally planned to see what others were experiencing for at least a month. I guess I'll have to be a guinea pig for other member lurkers. I'm holding out patiently for the NOTE 8 to replace my N3.

For now - LET'S DO IT!

I just wonder how the s8+ is gonna look in a otter box case. Just hope I don't lose screen picture or what ever. I'm most likely going s8 plus just worried is all. Never had the bigger screen before.
Those Otterbox cases are so clunky looking. You should look into getting the more sleek but protective Spigen Liquid Armor or NeoHybrid like the member got in the other thread. The S8+ wouldn't look as big in one of those.

Both of us have always used Spigen TPU cases on our phones since the S3. We both have dropped our phones many many times and have had bragging rights about how these cases saved them. I know of a bunch of times when it's landed on the thin side and bounced back up from the ground and hit agin before going down for the count. I reluctantly pick it up to see whether it still works and sure enough like nothing ever happened. I've ebayed each of our phones to be in mint condition in the end.

The one thing I can't vouch for is now that the phones have that edge on both sides causing the case to dip just below it, it is probably every case's achilles heel. I'm just not a fan of that edge but it's the way all displays are going.
