imo it is deffinately not ugly. i actually think the eris is a little fugly (still love it but think it could stand to look a little better) ...

i really dont like curved edges and the such. i usually go for the hard lines that the droid has but i loved sense too much :rolleyes:

Not really, the "Ha Ha, See ya suckers cause I gotz a better phone and you all suck!" threads are a problem. A member saying goodbye after being an active part of the community is pretty normal as forums go.

I'm not usually the person that gets on someone and maybe I'm wrong but when I saw his OP say "Motorola Droid ahhhhh a phone that works...." it kind or rubbed me like some of those incredible goodbyes. I switched phones as well but I have never come in to the Eris forums to either brag or rub something in someone's face. I really liked my Eris I just wanted root and decided I could do more from a rooting stand point with the Droid. Does anyone in here really care about that though? Of course not. I'm glad he's happy with his Droid as am I, but I felt the goodbye could have been a little different thats all.

Ooh I agree I loved my eris. Was planning on keeping the replacement and rooting it but when I saw h boot 1.49 on it my thoughts were well guess I need a new phone. I didn't try to rub anything in anyone face. I love this place and all android phones. Hence the reason I still come in here to talk to people and help out. My dad still has an eris and he will have issues that he will ask me to fix and where else will I go?


Oh and if anyone wants a nice case with a chrome top and black bottom let me know pay to mail it and its yours.

Hey Davros Have fun with the phone! I left for the Incredible, but gave my Eris to my daughter. Now my Inc is busted (I dropped it and the screen shattered) and I'm waiting on a replacement. But I grew to respect the posts of many of the forum members, and some of them I even looked forward to reading what they had to say on most any subject. If they just disappereard when moving on, I'd feel bad. I like to know it's because they moved on, not because they got mad or something.

This is SO true.

Recently there was a thread asking what happened to Smacky (what did happen to that guy?)

If he did get an Incredible(not saying he did), and did not say goodbye, we are all left wondering what happened to him.

If he says goodbye and tells us he got the Incredible, he gets crushed by everyone...

I guess there is no easy way out of this forum...lol.
