1. This looks like it is toward the connection to the battery. Bottom left

2. The distortion is going to occur first at the weakest point of the coating, which would be on a corner were the edge of the coating stops.

Installed Sports Tap once then uninstalled it. Kept running and wouldn't shut down.

Use the messed up case *and probably battery* to try to make this heatsink

strip the battery, use heat sink compound and a thin copper sheet, then cut the battery cover.

I've had a couple different cases on my phone since I got it in January. Got a refurb now, but I've noticed moisture building up in-between the case and phone. Could this cause issues with the heat from the battery?

Went to VZW store around 3ish & they couldn't find anything wrong with the battery but could not deny it was hot, 117 degrees F hot, at one point, it reached 126 deg F!! in the store I had it charge for a while, got it to 50% & waited for my friend who was buying a new phone for her road trip. Before weleft the store 20 min later, i was down to 9% left & it was about 107deg.

All VZW did was order me a replacement battery to be delivered in 4 days! I cannot call my dad for fathers day unless I'm plugged in & I'm paranoid this is not safe. I cannot get a charge to stick at all! I hope this new battery works better.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I tried killing any background apps running & when i check Battery use, it shows:
13% charge (was 53%) I made one 4 minute call today
21 min 44 sec since unplugged
Cell Standby-53%
Android System-24%
Phone Idle -16%
Display- 7%

It looks as though someone stepped on the phone while the cover was heated to way above normal. It does look pretty cool, but i plan on getting one of those coveroos with the "home" symbol from Stargate on it
