Update:
I dropped aCalendar+ (and also DigiCal, that I bought and looked similar to aCalendar+).
Both 'depend' on the Outlook app calendar, which is a drama on synchronizing, especially very old calendar events.
One has to 'trigger' updating hundreds of times (swiping). Updating takes days...
Finally, after weeks, I dropped both apps because from some point in the past (backwards) all events show up twice, even though in Outlook calendar app there are single entries.
I switched to Calengoo.
It syncs with Google, or with Outlook/Outlook Exchange directly...
It is fast, I mean fast...!
There many, many options (it could be a bit overwhelming initially) and there is a Google discussion group
CalenGoo-Android-Support - Google Groups
Can highly recommend this app.
A registered version is some Eur.5,50 or so
