Root After root and new recovory and room, stuck on 3 skateboards

Hi there. I have a HTC Eris from Verizon. Using the directions found on Cyanogenmod's wiki for the HTC Hero CDMA, I've gone through and rooted the device, installed Clockwork Mod Recovery, and installed the new radio firmware.

After flashing with the latest stable official build of CM7, the device gets stuck at the 3 skateboarders screen. Attempting to flash CM6 also yields the same results. I can still get into fastboot and Clockworkmod Recovery.

Like an idiot I thought this would be foolproof and so I didn't bother creating an nandroid backup.

Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What exactly did try to flash? Was it an Eris ROM or a CDMA Hero ROM? Also, I would suggest using a different recovery. Here, we prefer Amon_Ra brcause there have been some issues with clockwork bricking the Eris. I don't believe there is an official Eris ROM on the cyanogen site.
