Help Android TV issues with Google Play Music

I just got a Sony X900e. First thing I noticed was under the DISCOVER bar in the MY APPS section, I do not see Google Play Music as an app to add. I can launch the App under the HOME and APPS section. Second is when I use Google Play Music, I can play music via my playlists (from my library) but if I browse to the artist and album it does not play. Thank you -C

It's not listed to add because it's already on phone.
Are the songs downloaded onto your phone already?

No, I stream everything. I can cast to the tv just fine. Any ideas why music won't play via GPM on the tv when going by artist & album? Playing via playlists works.
