    Hi Guys,

I rooted my Optimus One using the Gingerbreak method following http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1044765. I got SuperUser privileges and everything worked fine.

Then I started deleting those Apps which can pre-installed on my Phone and were really irritating me and taking on space by using the "Root App Remover" from the Android Market.

    Preinstalled Apps I removed :-

    (1) Facebook for Android
    (2) Twitter
    (3) LG Home
    (4) LG Games
    (5) Music
    (6) Video

Now my phone wont start and its stuck on the "Android" bootup screen. [IMG]

I think I screwed up by removing LGHome, which probably was the Launcher. I then tried recovering by setting my phone back to factory settings but the Home screen just goes black and when I reboot gets stuck in "Android" screen.

Any help would be appreciated, as to what I did wrong and if I can somehow recover from this.

    Thanks in advance.

Dont worry, the same thing happened to me when I uninstalled some system apps. Your phone is not bricked. If you know how to flash a custom firmware onto your phone, then doing so will fix your phone. Otherwise, you can just take the phone to the nearest service center. Thats what I did, because I had never flashed my phone before and I didn't feel that it was best to experiment at that time. Anyway, the guys at the service center didn't even notice that the phone was rooted. They cant tell the phone has been rooted since they cant access the menu and see the superuser app installed. They fixed the phone without charging me anything, and didn't mention anything about rooting. Lets hope that they wont notice in your case too. Please note that I still had original firmware installed. Also note that you will loose all your contacts, messages, apps, and app data. Hope you have a backup.

    Hope this helps
