Root app to boost call volume

looking for simple way to boost the call volume on my rooted eris. it seems like the call volume has gottne worse even though i have the settings set to max.

checked out the volume hack app - but it doesn't work with eris or beyond 1.5

I'm having the same problems here as well. Hope someone has some suggestions.

No guarantees, but take a look at AndroidAudioHacks.com for something called "Louder Volume Hack".

The site says its compatible with the Eris. Does cost, though. Available in the Market too.

(unless that's what you meant by the "hack app" you mentioned earlier--if so, sorry I mis-understood )

edit: digging deeper it does look like this is what you were talking about ("does not work on 2.1+"...bummer)

You could always try the hearing aid option. Though 3rd party apps run the risk of blowing the handset speaker. It can only go so loud for reason.

BusyBox IS integrated into Kaos Froyo v34. Dan Cassidy's volume hack requires it...
