Apps... Free/Paid/Ad supported.

Out of interest, what's your 'preference' when installing apps?

Personally, I go for free apps then consider 'upgrading' to any available pro versions if I find them useful. Ad supported apps I'm not too keen on but will use them as & when I need to.

Ideally, I'd prefer to use apps that are free, full versions with no ad support and an option to donate as & when I see fit. It's the model that works for any number of Linux distributions/applications.

I tend to spring for paid apps as they usually have more features and no ads.
