I am trying to install it and getting an error.

I have been doing the following
1. Download file and rename to update (is update.zip)
2. put it on the root of my SD card
3. start up my driod in recovery mode (hold down X and press power, then hit Vol+ and the camera button)
4. select apply SDcard:update.zip
5. update runs and errors out with this message E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted

I am running stock 2.1 with no mods

So what am I doing wrong?

You need to select "Allow Update zip" first, then select "Apply Update zip".

I do not have that option in SP Recovery.

Isn't this for Android 2.2?? Are you using SPRecovery or CW?

Where can i get 01.43.01p. I downloaded 01.41.00r today thinking I was getting the newer one. Any help would be great!
