Just got the Lg Optimus S and ws looking for a word program for it. That is how I found this site.
I had T mobile MDA then Plam 800 so Android is quite different for me. Suggestions for a "newbie" would be welcome.
Should Google Docs work on my phone so I could compose docs. instead of getting MS Word. If not what would be godd for Word and Excel?

Google Docs should work on your web browser but you don't have a lot of screen real estate to work with.

A number of the newer Android phones seem to come with Documents to Go.
