Has anyone used Better Keyboard. If so, how does it compare with the standard one that comes with the Droid

I like it, its a little more spacious than the stock, and you can also get a ton of themes from the market for it as well. whats nice is it has multiple styles of keyboards that you can use. Well worth the purchase I think if you do a lot of messaging.

Does it support multitouch? Like can you hold down the shift with one finger and type with the other?

I know the stock virtual keyboards do NOT support this feature. If better keyboard did, then I'd be willing to pay for it.

It does not support multitouch and the resolution isn't as good as the native keyboard

I can't type on the virtual keyboard without the multi touch keyboard. I try to type to fast, I hope that very soon there is a multi touch keyboard.

Our keyboard does support multi touch in that way, like rapid keystrokes and it will register all of them, not just like press and hold multi touch

I'm not sure this is a multitouch limitation.

My iPhone 3g used to stutter and struggle when I typed really fast, and that has multitouch I think.

Probably screen limitations rather than software? Maybe?
