Help Bluetooth streaming media connection issues (Blueant Q2)

I have a blueant q2 headseat with ad2p. When I turn it on, it connects to the phone with no problem. The media option in the bluetooth settings is turned ON. However, the media audio does not come through the headset. I have to go back into the bluetooth settings, turn the media option off, and then back on again in order to get it to work. I have to do this every time the headset reconnects with the phone.

I know that Android has been plagued with bluetooth issues. Is this just another one to add to the list or is there something I can do to resolve this issue? Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm still having this problem... same as above, except for turning audio on and off... that doesn't do it either.
