Busy signal when calling

Phone activated this morning and it's fantastic! My only issue is quite a few numbers do not ring when I call them; I just get a busy signal and cannot progress beyond that. Has anyone else experienced this? I'll see if it resolves. Very troublesome.

that actually did happen once for me. I was trying to call my hero when I first got the Evo and I received a busy signal.. But its been fine since.

Are you sure it's a busy signal? Sounds more like the "Fast beep" (I don't know the term for it). It's like a busy signal but beeps faster. Usually indicates a network issue.

Just tried and it did not resolve the issue. I cannot call my work number at all and I have tried 25x. lol...

Honestly, I don't know. Sounds like a busy signal to me. Grrrrr. I suppose I'll have to call when I get home from work. I don't even have my PIN # here. The paper is at home!
