Calendar event entered on Note2 not showing in Google Calendar?

I have a calendar even that I entered on my Note2 though it is not showing on my Google Calendar. I just created a new calendar even on my computer in Google Calendar and it showed up almost instantly on my Note2. Anyone have any idea why this is not working?

When you enter an event on your note II calendar, you need to change the top bar to your google calender. Default is My Calendar. Once you change it for the first time, the next time it remembers.

You might want to manually sync your phone calendar too.

Events created on "My Calendar" won't show up on Google calendar. I've not found a way for the app to remember that I want all my events to be created using my Google Calendar. SOmetimes it remembers and other times it reverts back to My Calendar. Most of the time, it defaults to My Calendar. A major PITA, for which I hope an update fixes that annoyance.
