Can someone tell me what these widgets are...

Launcher Pro lets you change the icons for any app or shortcut you add to the home screen. You just need to make/download some text icons and you're ready to go. The nice thing is you can also choose not to have the name of the shortcut under the icon. Alternatively you could keep that name there and just choose a blank icon.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that's what I'm using now, but I hate how i don't have the notification bubbles on the dock for emails (I use htc mail). LauncherPro is so good that it's hard to give it up though. If I can find a way to get a 1x1 or 1x2 widget that's all text and can link to my email and sms, that would be hot. Would be a bonus if there was a little numbers on the corner of the text to let me know how many... haven't been able to find anything yet.

LP does allow you to have an unread count bubble for sms on the dock. I use handcent too and this works fine. I'm equally annoyed though about the lack of this ability for email. It works for the standalone gmail but not for my synced exchange emails using the HTC client.
