Can we download APK files on Android Wear??

I have just purchased Xiaomi watch and some websites provide "APK download" for Android Wear.
Have anyone tried on ??

That doesn't sound very promising for Android Wear or APK downloads. And presumably it's Xiaomi doing their own proprietary things with this device. Maybe it has integration with Xiaomi phones running MIUI?

i don't get it, but in general, if we use APK files from thoses sites, we will have to download it and activate it on our phone then it will shown on our watch or sth ??

This device was only released a few weeks ago, and is only officially available here in China so far.

The thing looks very much like an Apple Watch.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch definitely won't use or download APKs because it's NOT running Android, and I don't think it's Wear OS compatible either. Xiaomi are using something they developed themselves and is proprietary. It should sync information with a phone, like messaging, notifications, email, etc. It will have a walled-garden of apps, optional faces, etc.

It has Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, and can also use an eSIM(provided you have a carrier that supports eSIM activations).
