cant play music on samsung galaxy s2

purchased some songs on play music and the appear on my list of downloaded songs. however, they are gray and only say they are"recently purchased" and i cannot play them on the phone. what can I do?

You may only need to clear your music player's cache in Application Manager and then reboot your phone.

If it's a file extension issue, a work around is to copy the music files to your PC or laptop, then load them back into your phone via Kies which converts the file extension to compatibility with stock Samsung music apps. Be sure to delete the files from your phone before using Kies to load it all back to your phone.
