I thought toast got 3d working a while ago but oh well, I don't use it much anyway. As soon as wimax works I'm all over this!

Very nice to see. I won't even consider it until they have a more stable build though. I'm pretty happy with the stock ROM and Sense 3.0, so I may never switch, but we'll see. :)

yeah im waiting till he gets BT and the battery stuff worked out. After that i will be flashing it and wont be changing loved it on my 4G was able to get 2 days on the stock battery and almost a week on the extended battery i had. Plus gatta love having a completely stock android :D

i played with it for a few hrs and if bluetooth and camera were working, i would be all over it, but those are what i need. but as a base, it is strong

Last night on Twitter Toast announced a 2nd Alpha build that supposedly fixed the battery and charging problem. I'm waiting for BT too then I'm on it

Anybody have issues with the Home button? When I press "Home" it vibrates as normal, but nothing happens

I tried adjusting the settings and everything

Gonna peruse the xda thread to see if there's anything like that there

EDIT: Found some info, hopefully it'll help out

I feel like an idiot asking this (which is why I'm asking here instead of xda lol, you guys tend to be a bit nicer)

Once I flashed CM7, it asked if I wanted to install googleapps right then, or at a later time. I chose later time. Now I can't find an option to go back and install them!

Anyone know where that is?

did u flash the gapps zip? if so, you can not go back but you have the market where you can dl them from

Darn. Yeah I flashed the gapps and it asked "Click OK to run now, or click Cancel if you wish to turn on wifi and run this at a later time"

I hit cancel, turned on wifi, and now I cant run it lol. Sad.

I may be wrong, it is somewhere but I am not running it as a daily driver since bluetooth is not 100% working

Ok, it's no big deal it's just like 5 apps or something, I'm not too concerned.

Now that I've got that all done, this is running like a CHAMP! I missed it, it's just personal opinion but I like this ROM waaaay better than the 5 or so others I've tried.

I don't use BT or 3d so this thing is flawless for me now.

NOTE: In case anybody else has the home-button issue later on, it is caused by running a FULL titanium restore. After that is done I can't find any way to fix it, had to reflash every time.

To avoid this issue, just restore individual apps instead of all system data and such

EDIT: I remember on my Nexus S when I installed CM7 I could sync with facebook, but I can't with this one ... wonder if that's a specific issue or what ...

well hey if he at least fixed the battery issue i think i may flash it and play around with it for a little cuz i can deal with no BT for a little bit. Only thing i use BT for is having it read info from my car that's really it. But, i'm still mad excited about CM7 finaly being on the 3D :)

How is everyone getting their contacts ? I don't have my contacts on the SD card, and the set up takes me to configure an ' Exchange Account ' to pull the contacts from my Gmail account. ( sorry for the long sentence, typing on a t9 keyboard right now )

Also, does CM allow for FB contacts - phone book sync/ linking like Sense ? Thanks!

So I've seen people saying the update fixed the battery issue, and it's definitely an improvement over the battery indicator of the first alpha release, but my battery won't go over 70% now. I left my phone on and charging all night, and when I woke up the battery said it was at seventy percent. I then turned off the phone and plugged it back in. When I did this, the LED turned green. As soon as I turned the phone on, the LED went back to red and the battery indicator said 68%. I then booted into recovery and wiped battery stats, and rebooted. Same result, 68%. I normally wouldn't complain, but my battery life today was as if it had truly started out at 70%. Anyone else having this issue? Or, does anyone have a fix? :)

I think you can export your contacts to your SD card. Or you can use Titanium to back everything up

It used to! I swear I can't find it now though ... I had CM7 on Nexus S over the summer and it was there, but on my 3vo version, it didn't have it :/

Anyone have any ideas?

CM7 does allow for contact syncing. It should be in the Facebook for Android app, just like always. That's how it was for me at least (then again, I never did use Facebook for HTC sense)

Did you wipe your batt stats since flashing the ROM?
