Modified APN fix for VirginMobile

changed port and proxy to "0"
changed type to "default,admin,supl,mms,fota,hipri,internet"

Also using dial code #*#*4636*#*# under Set prefered nework type: LTE/CDMA auto (PRL) changing to LTE/WCDMA seems to have helped occasionally
and select radio band to PCS (1900-MHz)

Works for me

i seem to be having trouble installing google apps that i download from apk mirror. usually just the ones that came with gapps. what am i doing wrong? anybody else?

I switched to TD-SCDMA, LTE, CDMA, EvDo, GSM/WCDMA. That sped up my LTE speeds and resolved the issue of text messages not sending. I guess SMS relies on CDMA technology.

Update on LTE:

So far, Bad_MOFO, all the fixes you suggested are working. Haven't had any trouble with LTE. Also, I haven't had any other issues either.

I hope I'm not speaking too soon, I'm happy!

Calling works? Just because you have LTE doesn't necessarily mean you can make calls. Just good internet.

Yep...always have a backup though to keep yourself sane

You will most likely have to reflash gapps also. If not the keyboard will FC all the time. So to be safe just flash gapps along with it.

If you download and install Google Keyboard and disable the other keyboard app before flashing you won't have any issues with it.

You shouldn't need to be doing that. They should update fine through the store. Maybe reinstall gapps?

Anyone else having any issues with their screen not staying off. I hit the sleep button and it goes off for a sec then comes back on. I noticed that the Candy ROM also does this. Is this a known issue and is there a work around for this yet?

my minimum cpu speed keeps resetting back to 192. it resets whenever it wants to. ive got setcpu installed. anything else i can do?

I Suggest using an app that applies these settings at boot.

Make sure you test in settings
I only had to reapply these settings the first few times but it eventually solved the problem. Kernel Aduitor Also has great battery saving features

Thank you that worked. Now that you said that I do remember reading that at 1 point before I actually tried the rom but thanks again. Loving the ROM so far. Keep up the good job guys. On a side note does anyone know of a good guide on how to develope my own roms. I'm good with windows but don't know much about linux but would like to learn and maybe one day start my own roms. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
