Hi
I have just purchased this tablet thinking i could connect my external HDD to it through USB and watch films and listen to music from it.

The tablet can find all my music on the HDD though just as a olong list in the music icon.
i cant see my pictures or videos on the HDD through the tablet. is there an app i can do this and is this possible

I believe it would require root and an app called StickMount.

Sounds like your tablet is reading the HDD OK, but is unable to play the videos? Try MoboPlayer.
