Root Custom ROM's & Security Products

Was thinking of purchasing some kind of security product such as WaveSecure & just wondered what kind of compatability these have with custom ROM's.

My main concern is that when you're flashing new ROM's you more often than not do a full wipe & just wondered what kind of impact this has on the software as the whole point of it is that they are not easily uninstalled. Is reinstallation after a wipe difficult?

I appreciate your average thief / mugger isn't gonna nick my handset & then start customising it, I'm more concerned about that data on it should anything bad happen.

Anyone got any experience of this?

I backed up WaveSecure with Titanium Backup and restored it after flashing a new rom without any problems.

Ditto. Many times. Of course a savvy phone thief will also know they can wipe the phone via recovery.
