Root do i have battery problems

I am running nexbeast v1.0.1 sometimes ill be using the hpone and itll start to heat up alot. The itll just drop 20 percent in about 20 minutes literally. Sometimes itll drop 10 percent in 2 hours. Is it the battery is being read wrong or what is it. I just dont think it is normal.

P.s. i did this on my droids keyboard. Dont say it is bad....

I might add that you really gave us no information besides the ROM, you could be at 550 or 1300 - it makes a big difference.

Another important factor is the kernel. Experiment with different kernel/speed combinations. All phones are different, yielding different results for similar setups.
