Anyone know if there is a generic/open radio rom available for the droid X that allows easier "flashing" / programming to other carriers ?

Droid X on alltel still has not been solved, but it has been solved on the original droid or milestone using a generic rom and then using CDMA workshop and QPST to apply alltel PRL and PPP/HDR addresses.

Also... the Alltel Milestone is now available, if the SBF gets released for this phone, is it possible to take the NV radio file out of the SBF and plant it into an SBF for the Droid X to allow simple *228 activation on alltel without messy programming? Done this with HTC and it's dirt simple to swap carriers by swapping the NV item image from one phone to another and reflashing the NV file in recovery. Crazy. If not, I'm about ready to ditch the DX onto an incredible.

    Thanks a lot.
