DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON!
Take the back off, the battery out, the sd card out, the sim card out, and shake all the water off you can.
Throw it in a bowl of rice for at least a full 24 hrs if not more.
Hopefully it survived and will then power up.

I did the exact same thing with mine (more than once) and it survived. Cross your fingers!

Your best bet is to remove the SIM, SD Card and battery and place all of them, including the phone, in a box of rice in a warm cupboard and leave for (at the very least) 48 hours. Don't even attempt to turn it on in that time.

I wouldn't hold out much hope, but I have seen similar situations and the phone has survived.

take anything removable out (battery, sim, sd card, etc) and place them in a bag of dry rice for 2-4 days. That is you best hope for getting your phone up and running.
