err name not resolved when away from home

I have a rooted Samsung galaxy s5 sm-g900v running Resurrection Remix Nougat. This is a Verizon phone running on T-Mobile, but in other ROMs everything has worked fine. Everything works fine from home with the exception of attachments in SMS. When I am away from home going anywhere in a browser I get "err name not resolved", also in the status bar T-Mobile has a small x and 2gb. limit message. I have unlimited data. Calls and SMS work with the exception of attachments in SMS. I have checked APN settings and they are correct for T-Mobile. Anybody have any suggestions?
