...doesn't turn the LED's off when you turn the screen off...does it exist?

With my DroidX I had the moto droid app that could turn the LED on and when you turned the screen off, it stayed on...thus providing longer light for battery.

I tried the top ten apps, but they didn't seem to work.

    Yup.
    I've tried the following:
    Tiny Flashlight + LED
    Flashlight HD LED
    Brightest Flashlight Free
    TeslaLED Flashlight
MotoTorch (Yes it works with HTC)

Tiny Flashlight+LED is the best one I have used.

Simple and does not turn off when screen is off.

Just one big button in the middle and you can shortcut it or widget it on your home screen for quick access if you use it a good bit like when I am outside walking the dog at night and trying to avoid stepping in poop

FYI, Tesla LED has worked for me. Does not turn off when I turn off screen. But I am mostly opening it from widget locker lock screen, not sure if that makes a difference.
