FM radio in Nexus One?

Hi all,

I plan on getting the Nexus One as soon as Google make it available in Europe, or i find some reasonable prices on ebay. But one thing that bothers me is why there's isnt any fm radio. I found in this article where they dissected the phone and found an FM receiver/transmitter. So why dont they have an app for it? I was also closely following the Sony Xperia x10 which runs android but apparently that doesnt have FM radio either..

Is this Android related or what? Arent there any apps out there for FM radio?

Where in the specs does it mention an FM radio?

One website tore one apart the device and found an FM transmitter but it's not activated. Perhaps later it will be by OS update.

HTC Tattoo has FM radio so it's definitely not Android related...
