I'm still tinkering with all the settings of my new phone and there's one thing I can't seem to figure out. I like text messages to pop up, but not email. Ideally, I'd like Gmail notifications to appear in the status bar at the top, but not pop up on the home screen. (I had already ticked "hide content on lock screen" for Gmail but I can't find where I did that from now.)
Also - is there a way to set the LED to flash for only a little while before shutting off? (Because it must drain the battery, blinking at me all night long.)
