Root GT-I9000T ROM downloading HELP

Hi there,I have a Telstra Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000T and I really want to get a custom ROM and flash kernels and over lock etc. but I only ever seem to find help with GT-I9000 or GT-I9000M never the T. Is there a difference?! I really want to try it, but I don't want to brick my phone. Even ROM Manager, that just uses i9000, can I classify my phone as just that?
Please Help.
