Root HELP My Evo V Wont Get Service

    I flashed the miui Rom on my phone worked well for a couple days then suddenly today I wasn't getting any service at all I have an X on my network bars. Then I flashed my backup of the stock Rom and I'm still not getting any service. What can I do to fix this ?

    Hey Jane!

    So you're back on the stock ROM?

    Are you S-On or S-Off? (If you flashed the JB MIUI, I assume S-Off?)

    I'd suggest running the RUU, but you can try to do a few things

    Like Menu > Settings > Updates (I think that's what its called) and try to update the profile/prl. See if that helps.

    If all else fails, definitely do the RUU, which is located in this thread.

    I'm s-on it was a miui Ics version that I didn't need to be s-off and I already tried the pro update no luck ;/

    Ah, okay.

    I would honestly try to do an RUU at this point. It should only take about 20 minutes to do, depending how long it takes to download.

    Only other solution I can think of is a simple toggle of airplane mode off/on, and making sure your mobile network is turned on.

    I'm going to try the RUU cause nothing Else seems to work

    Good luck!

    RUU 99.9% of the time fixes the issue.

    If you happen to be in the .1%, then I Would contact Virgin Mobile, as it could be a hardware issue. Maybe even tower outages, but I'm not sure.

    VM is down a bunch of places, they have been down in my area since last Friday (no joke) I have spoken with CS every day.

    Call their support line I would be willing to bet this is your issue:

    I got threw to them today about one of my issues maybe its just in your area?
