Just saying hello before posting my experiences of how 2.29.405.2 has broken browser behaviour on my Desire. I have had the phone since March and not had much need for forums since then as it has worked faultlessly, but I have spotted a thread where others have had the same problem as me.

and I do not believe so, but I wouldn't worry about it, especially if it was an accident

The forum itself does not provide the ability to self-delete posts. To delete you can simply edit the post and delete it's content... or you can PM one of our mods and ask them to delete the post for you.
