Icon size adjustment?

Maybe a silly question but since I don’t know all the customization abilities of my LG.

What I am finding is I would like my icons to be easier to see/read. Is this possible. I am using whatever came with the phone. I find the icons/ boxes are too big. I see too much black. I would like the icon e.g Spotify etc to show bigger and brighter and thus easier to see. I find everything is too small.

I think I tried adjusting the size within settings. I don’t think it did much, if anything .

Nova launcher lets you adjust icon size, as well as customize the grid pattern.

Oh ok so you would recommend nova launcher? Maybe I’ll give it a try.

Another recommendation for Nova Launcher. It's a great app for customization options.

I go back and forth between Nova and Apex. Either way you get a lot more features than most stock launchers.
