Root [International] simple root

hey guys is there a simple root method for the htc one, i dont really want to unlock my bootloader and install custom roms i just need root, so i was think something like vroot or something like that. has anyone used vroot or similar on there htc one?

You can also try towelroot. I don't have the One, but it works on a lot of phones.

Towelroot may work, but it was int give you write access...the only way to root modern HTC devices is to unlock the bootloader..you may or may not want to flash a custom recovery,but you need to boot a custom recovery image and flash the root zip

After towelroot, you get SuperSU from the playstore and install it. Let it install su binaries. Then you can use flashify to install recovery.img.

jus tried it guys and sometimes it reboots sometimes it doesnt but when i try to install supersu it cant install the binaries

Did you run towelroot first? And in SuperSU make sure you choose normal method for binary install, not twrp method.

i ran towelroot the when it didnt reboot i installed supersu and when i opened it it said it couldnt install binaries, it didnt give me the choice of normal or twrp like it normally does

it won't work with a locked bootloader

A locked bootloader usually means you can't flash a custom recovery, but root should be possible. For example My wife's kyocera rise has a locked boot loader and still rooted. Just no custom recovery.

No, system is still write protected regardless of root or not

That pretty much sums it up.
If however you were able to temproot and get s-off with firewater it may be possible to get root but theirs no clear cut way of doing so. With s-off/Temproot you may be able to just use a SuperSU.apk, I've never tried it though
