Not sure. If it is it is pretty high. I can get almost 30mb/s in certain areas.

I think it's 50mbps down since I'm getting above 40mbps frequently:

But the radio on Thunderbolt isn't capped. It's fully capable of supporting speeds up to 50mbps as the network itself is set up per pop.
I hope someone can confirm this.

I think it is the same way an M/B AMG is governed to 155.

the theoretical speed of Verizon LTE should be 50 or 70mbps down and 20 or 25mbps up.

Thunderbolt is really the fastest smartphone in the world. I know Sweden has faster LTE but I think they don't have a single smartphone. Only USB modems.
