EDIT: I see Google Messenges is now called Android Messeges
After 4 good years with my Note 3, it was time to upgrade. GPS was barely working, text messages weren't coming through all the time till I rebooted and little other things.
Went cheap and got a Moto Z Play. I see Android Messages is the default app but I'm not seeing any way to add custom notifications for contacts. Am I missing something? On the Note 3 you were able to set custom ringtones and contacts through editing the actual contact. Now you can only set a custom rington through contacts and no option for notifications.
Do I need to use something else like Textra or something now?
