Ok I rooted my evo using the revoked method and it didn't work then I rooted my phone the other method. At this point I could use some root apps but not all and could not flash a rom. Then I attempted to unroot so I can start over from scratch and try again. When I did that I'm stuck in limbo now I can't use anything root but I also cant' update my phone. Can somebody please help me. My phone works fine but I just want to start over.

power off the phone, hold volume down and power and you will boot into bootloader and it will tell you the version and if s is off, also it will allow you to boot into recovery
