Help Picture Messaging

ok so I just got my Samsung Epic flashed over to Metro PCS (or Cricket) last week, with everything working great, except the pic messaging. They told me it could not be done on the regular messaging system that comes with the phone. But they said I can download an app called "textfree" and i could send and receive pics and videos.

I've been able to send pics using the Textfree app as long as I have wifi....but I still cannot receive any pics which is the problem I'm looking to solve.

Is there any way to send/receive pics on a flashed droid on Metro (besides using textfree) ?? thanks.

yea when you switch to metro or cricket, you are then unable to send/receive pic messages.

was just wondering if there is an app or way from the deafult program to sent/receive pic and video messages with metro??

Try the instructions in post 28 and 29... Not really sure what most of the information is, but it sounds like you will need a custom ROM in order to get it to work...

I did also come across DroidFlash 2.0, whatever that is...
