Help Problem after Update

Hi all

Need help.
Updated my S2 yesterday since then Kies wont restore back Up (not that bothered). However i'm not receiving e-mails tried deleting address and reentering no good and finally in Sync, i have message that
'Sync is experiencing problems will be back shortly'

Any ideas

Thanks for that info; however had had ICS already installed no problems it is when i up graded to 4.0.4 using KIES.

The advice still stands if you have a problem with any update. It is standard best practice for those who have rooted phones and are flashing updates and modifications of any sort.
