Help Problem with BBC IPlayer

When I first launch Iplayer and pick a programme to watch everything's fine, but if I switch to live tv I only get sound, but no video. If I then go back to watch a non live programme the same problem happens again. When I try to close the app i get the "BBC media player is not responding" error message. I've already tried all the usual stuff (clearing the cache, uninstalling/re-installing) but with no success... Any ideas? Anybody else experiencing the same problem?
