Help [Q] SMS Issue

So the other day I sent a longer text (over a page) to my girlfriend and I got a reply back saying she received nothing much a bunch of random symbols and garbage (#$$^#$!%%). The text looked fine from my end so I resent it, she got the same thing. I sent another short text that was under a page and it was fine for her.

Anyone know what could be causing this? I can send her a shorter text just fine with no issues but it seems like anything over a page causes her to get a clusterf*** of stuff...

I know I have sent her multiple page texts in the past with no issues and cant seem to identify something I did or changed that would cause it to start acting up like this.

She has Verizion, Tmobile for me.
I've got G2 she has BB Curve 8330
And I was sending just a SMS with no picture attatched.

I thought it was a carrier issue right away but I'm positive I have sent her multiple page texts on the same phone she has now.

Hmm weird i have had that issue also before but with person on same carrier. Try to send to yourself as a SMS and see if comes the same way .

Some phones are going crazy and acting weird for no reason. But it should be back to normal after April 23rd.. Call the phone company and tell them, you may be able to get a refund for the days your phone has been messing up. Good luck!

I did send myself a 2 page text as a test and it came through perfectly clear. I haven't been able to test it with anyone else to see if they get symbols aswell though.

Can I ask why the date of April 23rd will fix this issue? Update coming?
