I saw the question buried in another thread, but I can't find the thread.
The new 0.3 baseband interests me, even though I had a bad previous experience. My phone is working well, I plan to do a nandroid and all that, but if I flash the baseband and it is crappy for me, and I nandroid back - is the original baseband placed back with the nandroid image?
I am not sure how the baseband is interrelated.
If not with the nandroid, where can I get the original baseband and how would I reflash the original without ROM Manager without adb?
Sorry it's lengthy, but this should help others as well.
TWO things I read about this 0.3 - people lose 3G frequently = the fix supposedly is airplane mode on and off. Also, when doing the *228 option 1 to program, you must do it again with option 2 - this should improve 3G and bars.
New baseband -- loosing 3g - Page 2 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
Thanks for helping!

edit: sorry, can mod move this to the ROOT subforum, I think it's more appropriate.
