Root [ROM][CM9 KANG][Alpha] Updated 3.5.5---6/27/12

Ill keep FE16 and play around with it, I'm wiling to test things out and post back. Any suggestions with the data problem I'm having?

try a fresh download..may have got a corrupt one..try a fresh install..and a full wipe of everything....twice....apps, data and all...post back with your results..its gonna be your setup or boosts network..do the above and it will fix your issues
 
I have redownloaded and wiped everything, still no luck with data. When I restore back to my current CM7 setup I have great service and data 3g. I am on prl 60686 also.

Hmm..strange bro..

Should work fine..I have heard ppl say the 3g toggle acts up and can be a lil funny but data should other wise work fine..not sure what the deal is dude..
 
no it is bot supercharged... you have to apply a patch inorder to be able to supercharge... the supercharger will NOT detect the adj values and will NOT stick. i put up the patch... its a service.jar file.... copy that to ur sd card... go into system/framework and past6e.. replace the one thats already in there and reboot.
 
Is mounting the phone for usb storage supposed to require su? I know it doesn't on any other rom I've used
 
As for being on FE16 with this, putting the phone in airplane mode and then taking it out causes 3g to quit working (as in 3g doesn't come back). A reboot fixes that but is there some way to fix that?

don't really know much about that rom but if not fast reboot app is quick and easy to use without actually rebooting, if no one has an aswer.

using 3g scripts and or v6 sc is not a good idea with this rom..

me and inigo added lots and lots of stuff to the bp for just about everything you can think of..and the rom should include jrummys ram script so that may screw with v6

if you have your heart set on using 3g or v6 your gonna need to add the modified services.jar..edit all the 3g tweaks out of the bp and take the ram script out of init.d..

okay.. i really wanna try that but im no dev so ill stick to the rom..

hmm..i don't think you need su permission for usb mount..but just set su to allow all permissions..

maybe FE16? not saying it isn't an issue on all basebands but i don't remember that happening with EJ06..

quirks with 3G have been reported off and on..could be a 3g issue, could be a Baseband issue..not sure

i couldnt tell ya..i have never built from source..only ports and hroarks cm9..plus i use a dual boot win7/ubuntu-. i hate it..but soon enough i will be getting a better setup

dont know if that tut would be the same..pm hroark and maybe ge coyld better answer that question for you

nope..at least not in my opinion..some ppl swear by it..but im a little harder to convince, who knows what tweaks work and don't..placebos..easy to make your self believe something is working..harder to actually prove it..try it out though ..see if you notice a difference
