[ROM] CM9 Tenderloin nightlies

Might want to install from recovery instead of via Rom Manager tho.

There seems to be zip corruption issues when installing CyanogenMod through ROM Manager. I've found the problem and am fixing it.

I would think you should be ok to boot into recovery via RM tho.

I've been having issues with the tablet rebooting a couple seconds after I put it to sleep. Anyone else seen this and know if any of the nightly releases since Alpha 2 address it?

I don't really see anything in the changelog that looks like it fixes the problem.

I will say, though, that the touchscreen is a THOUSAND percent better than it was in Alpha .6. For me, the early alphas were almost unusable because long press events were so hard to generate. Now it works well.

That's an issue I've seen since day one. I think it is better with the nightlies (or seems to settle down after a bit). I think I'm on a nightly around 3/8.

CM9 should have the same or better battery life as CM7, if you don't have an incompatible app that misbehaves.

I've not found any battery app that works well. One thing they want to do is turn off wifi when sleeping, which can cause other problems. (It needs to stay on for now.)

I tried the 3/25 nightly today. It is working great so far. I was having a problem trying to download the Netflix app from the market. Kept getting some kind of error. After flashing 3/25 I was able to get it. Don't know if 3/25 fixed it or just the act of doing a clean install.

Hello everyone new here but not new to cyanogen.... I am actually running classifieds right now..I was running cm7, I didn't goto. Cm9 because of certain things....I have one question for u if your running this nightly... I am so happy about hardware acceleration and hd video..I could care less about the camera but I had become very dependant on my mic. Working...is the much working in this or any version you know of? Typing sucks...talking is so much easier. Function for any reply.

Eyeballer posted this on twitter yesterday:

The TouchPad is now in official CM9 nightlies!! Great work by the CM team. Updated status of my builds:
I read that this is your new change log: CyanogenMod nightlies changelog for Ace

... but that doesn't jive with the old change log, which I see is still updated.

Anyone install 3/27 nightly? Does shutdown work now? Gerrit Code Review

4.0.4 has dropped so you should start seeing that merged. Trebuchet (stock launcher) has already been updated to 4.0.4. :D

If you are on Alpha 2.0, is there any benefit to going to the more recent nightly? I am having no issues except for the random reboot.

Since installing the 04/23 nightly, I haven't had another reboot. Not to say they're fixed entirely, because it's only been a few days, but I used to get at least one random reboot per day and none since then.

I always get reboots when my TP is sleeping. Thought it might be from restoring apps from TIBU so did a wipe with AOPK and started restoring apps just from Market last night. So far so good, but we'll see tonight.

Right, that's when I used to get reboots as well. Frequently within 5 seconds after hitting the sleep button.

This new build seems to have fixed that. Knock on wood, of course.

Clean install with minimal use of TIBU didn't help much. Still got the reboot during sleep.

I see CM9 for the DroidX had a RC0 build (release candidate). Nice to see it nearing a stable build.

EDIT: Updated a month-old nandroid of CM9 to the latest nightly and it is indeed more stable. Not one reboot. :D
